Nature was free and poured her blessings.
The trees grew in their own capacity.
The temperature was favourable.
Sweet raindrops made us wet,
Warm summer dried us.
Cold winter made us shiver,
Beautiful spring made us glitter.
Animals too shared the beauty of nature.
Man lived on nature,
Nature satisfied his need.
But man's need grew into greed.
And he made the nature bounded.
Exploited her, plundered her, and
Gave just pollutants in return.
The trees now cannot grow by themselves perfectly.
The good earth (soil) is destroyed.
Chemicals are needed in every step,
And no rain-drop is left pure.
Extremely hot, extremely cold
Causes man's destruction.
And mother nature can do nothing but cry.
Her hands are chained by men.
She is exploited by men.
BRING THE OLD NATURE BACK!!
Let her again show her beauty...!!

There are several people whom I owe my talent. They have gently nourished me from childhood, and induced me with knowledge. At that time, they didn't let me know their intentions. And today, when I'm called up on the stage, they stay behind the curtain and secretly watch their years of struggle getting room in this world of people. They include my parents, relatives, teachers, well-wishers, and even friends, and of course, The Almighty. Its not possible to mention everyone's name, for its an endless list.
But the ones who have been major among them, are:
My parents: They are the cause of my existance. They have always encouraged me to write more and more. The first gift they have presented to me in this regard, is admitting me in St. Xavier's School. I still remember my paa was the first to say, "You have a quality of writing, and this is an asset for you. Try to cultivate this habit of yours". My mum gets the full credit of teaching me to read and write in bengali.
Mr. S. B. Biswas, Ma'm Dorothy & Fr. Scerri: My english teachers, who have always tried to improve my english.
Mr. Ashok Tiwari: Our teacher cum librarian, who has always helped me in choosing good books which always inspired me to write better.
Mr. P. K. Acharya & Ma'm Srivastava: My hindi teachers, who have encouraged me to write in Hindi as well.
Mr. Sajal Kanti Roy: My literature teacher. He was the first to induce in me the love for literature. Trust me, lit was a 'hatred' for me once. It was converted to my most fav subject only by Mr. Sajal (Sajal sir).
Miss Ishanie: My cousin, whose efforts have made english a simple subject for me.
There are several other teachers who have encouraged me to write. When people assumed my works to be 'lifeless', they had themselves come forward to read my works. Apart from the ones i've mentioned, some of those 'gifted' teachers are, Mr. A. N. Sahai, Mr. S. K. Mishra, Mr. S. Palmer, Mr. Arul.
All in all, I'd like to thank the entire St. Xavier's Family in this regard.
Even my friends have played a good part. Major among them are Ashish Krishnan, Mr. Suman Krishna, Miss. Rashmi, Ravi Sharma, Rohan Makhija, Rakesh Mishra, Aakash Deep, Bishwadeep, Anandi, Rishika, Chikun, Pooja, Subhankar, Bedanand, Udita.....endless list. They have been the first readers of my works. Their comments, both appreciations, & criticisms, have been valuable to me.
Last but not the least, the visitors of this blog, thats YOU, too are playing a good part by encouraging me. Courtesy goes to you too.
